The story is set in Paris and centers on a ratnamed Remy who lives there and digs haute cuisine. Remy dreams of becoming a great chef despite the profession's rodent-phobic nature.When Remy finds himself living in a sewer beneath an elegant restaurant made famous by his hero Auguste Gusteau, he braves danger and sets into motion a rat race which rocks the culinary world.
